Little Glassywing (Pompeius verna)

Member of Family: Hesperiidae

Because of its close resemblance to several other species, this slipper can be difficult to identify unless you get a good look at the upper side, with its large and distinctive "glassy" spots.  The faint crescent of pale spots on the hindwing underside is similar to that of the Northern Broken Dash and Dun Skipper.
